We make every effort to check the authenticity of adverts prior to insertion but it is impossible for us to check the authenticity of replies to ads so, before parting with any money or goods, you should take precautions to ensure that the offer is genuine. CAREFULLY CHECK ALL RESPONSES. Things to be wary of are; bad grammar, requests for up-front payment, unusual email address, etc.. If in doubt please contact email@example.com
The following is part of a response recently received that we believe to be a scam; “Perhaps we can proceed with the sale by providing your details such as name that cheque will be payable to, mailing address mobile phone number in order for the cheque to be issue and deliver to your doorstep via Royal Mail Service. Respectively…However logistics transportation will be added to the cheque, you will deduct actual price and transfer the remainder to the mover/shipper that will come arrange for collection”.
There are so many alarm bells ringing with the wording in this response and thankfully the seller flagged it up to us before anything untoward happened and has asked us to warn others.
I removed these lights from my last 405 many years ago after the cambelt snapped and it went for scrap. I had only fitted them days beforehand to get it throught it’s MOT, I hadn,t even got around to throwing out the boxes.
I have dash parts from a 403 approx 1963, there is a Speedo assembly with three of four gauges (sadly the Speedo mechanical are missing) also some switches and the washer pump along with a set of chrome trims and the centre grille (all pitted but I think a full set)
I can’t seem to upload pictures but have some if you 1st me have an email.
This clock from my 1989 205 GRD works perfectly, (well it did until disconnected) except that the little tuner no longer corrects the time, it has to be done by disconnecting the battery and reconnecting same when at the right time. An annoying pastime for some of us as the clocks go forward or back, but better than a clock that doesn’t work at all. Made by Veglia in France No 02433319900.
