Peugeot 205 GRD (CPUK Member)

2 owners from new.  In daily use since we first purchased in 1994.  Full service history.  MoT until 9/3/2027.  Metallic light blue (Topaz).  Some damage to the lacquer on the paintwork on roof/bonnet due to trees/birds but otherwise the bodywork is in pretty good condition for its age.  All 4 tyres new in 2023.  Some wear and tear e.g. radio, central locking and rear heated screen no longer work, driver’s seat is worn, gear knob is loose and gearbox synchromesh 2nd to 3rd can’t be rushed.  The main issue is that the water pump has recently developed a leak and needs to be replaced along with the cambelt hence the reduced asking price.  However, it has recently had a new battery, new brake caliper and new rear wheel cylinders.  This car has been an incredibly reliable car over the past 30+ years and is a perfect practical run about for a new owner.  We will be very sad to see it go.

2003 Peugeot 406 Coupe 2.2 HDI (CPUK Member)

Selling for a friend a Peugeot 406 Coupe. It has no MOT and has been sat on the driveway since 2017.

The exterior is looking tired as the paintwork has faded and generally needs attention. The wheels are in good condition however the tyres will need replacing. The engine covers and front lower grille are present but not fitted.

The interior is in great condition and seats and panels look new. It has the JBL sound system.

The engine does turn over but fails to start. I believe this is due to an electrical issue as the instrument cluster doesn’t light up either. It’s fitted with big Brembo brakes and a stainless exhaust system.

402 Commerciale (CPUK Member)

Following total chassis up renovation including recent total engine and transmission, this rare example is now, I would suggest, almost as new.
When I purchased the Commerciale at auction, the previous owner had completed the major part of the renovation and vehicle needed interior trim and reupholstering of the two bench seats. The engine, I discovered, needed an expensive rebuild which I have had done professionally at close to £5000. Both seats have been reupholstered, again professionally and now door cards need to be completed plus a small amount of the remaining trim.
The car is taxed and drives, brakes and steers as you would expect from the work that has been done.
It is powered by the bigger 2.2 litre engine so is not under-powered.
The name of the original owner, a French commercial representative, who bought the vehicle new in 1935, is on the glove box. The occupation of France by the German Forces in 1940, and their commandeering of every available vehicle, led Msr Coogeron to hide the vehicle in a farmers barn behind a false brick wall until the liberation in 1945 when he and Commerciale went back to work. Subsequently the farmer’s children learned to drive with the vehicle. Multiple pictures of the vehicle prior to renovation show the massive task undertaken and a huge number of letters and receipts accompany it.
I am about to purchase a new project, although at 87 years of age I should know better. However with four historic vehicles here, i need space, so this lady who has had so much care and investment in her life, represents an on the road piece of an interesting era and attracts admiring comments on her appearance despite her advanced years. 2018 (18) post-facelift Peugeot 208 GTi Prestige - full Peugeot main dealer service history and balance of warranty

It’s a max-spec Prestige edition, post-facelift 2018 car with 62,578 miles. It’s in excellent condition and perfectly mechanically maintained. If I’m being picky: there is some minor lacquer peel on the wheels, as on all these cars, plus some tiny bonnet chips to the leading edge and a fine graze to one of the plastic wing protectors. No bodywork, wheel or interior damage. Full Peugeot main dealer service history with the latest service and MOT on 31/10/25 by Peugeot main dealer. New clutch fitted by Peugeot in May 2025 under warranty. Has Peugeot/Spoticar main dealer warranty remaining until 21/11/26. PS5 tyres all round, nearly new at the front and 6mm at the rear. Last major service was in November 2025, including spark plugs and all filters, done by Peugeot. They also fitted new brake discs, pads, and brake fluid. It’s a very good example and one of the best I’ve seen, correctly maintained and with a warranty. Members have suggested I sell it for £8,500, but I’m happy with £6,995 and would prefer it to go to an enthusiast! I’m selling it because it’s an extra car I can’t justify.
