La Vie en Bleu - Prescott, Cheltenham

The festival of French motoring, set in idyllic Gloucestershire countryside, will entice an eclectic and magnificent variety of French transport once again in 2015. As well as the amazing Bugattis gathered for our delectation, there will be the usual French car club displays. Becoming one of the most popular events in the motor racing calendar, we are delighted to be awash with joie de vivre for the 9th year in a row.. 2015 sees our regular competitors plus some magnifique surprises including Bugattis, Ayrton Senna’s Lotus Renault F1. You’ll see the very best historic marques including Amilcar, Sandford, Salmson, Renault, Delage, Hispano, Peugeot, Citroen and many, many more. The Bugatti Veyron has now ceased production, however we hope to have a Bugatti Veyron confirmed. Take your opportunity to see this most elegant (and unforgettable) car in person – with demonstration runs throughout the weekend. The Super Sport version of the Veyron is considered the fastest street-legal production car in the world and boasts a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph). It was named ‘Car of the Decade’ for 2000 – 2009 by Top Gear with the standard Bugatti Veyron winning the programme’s ‘Best Car Driven All Year’ award for 2005. Entertainment, as always, is distinctly Francais. La Vie would be nothing without our naughty can-can dancers, those rather wicked Gendarmes (zut alors!), live music (accordions? Mais oui.) and plenty of delicious French food. For some splendid images from Allan Rhodes (2014) click here Click here for local accommodation guide
