Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run supported by Hiscox
This fantastic annual event kicks off on Saturday 4th November when all the cars will be on show to the public in Regent Street in the centre of London. It's a chance to see the cars and the drivers up close. The official event start is 07.02am in Hyde Park on Sunday 5th November with the ceremonial tearing up of the red flag which up to 1896 had to be waved by a person walking in front of any motor vehicle, the vehicles themselves being limited until that time to a top speed of 4 mph! There are 15 Peugeots listed as entrants and news has reached us that L`Aventure Peugeot Citroen DS will enter a car which will be driven by Thierry Peugeot. A half way check point will be held on Crawley High Street from 08.15am with first cars expected at the finish on Madeira Drive in Brighton from 10am. A great event with plenty of Peugeots on view and a great opportunity to see these Grand Old Vehicles in action!
