Peugeot 205 1.4GR (CPUK Member)

Car was purchased in 2015. i have sourced, with a few exceptions, genuine peugeot parts for any work that has been done on the car.

It has been garaged since 2016 and used infrequently. At the moment i have a sorn on the car.

Brakes: 2018 - renewed front callipers, pads, rear cylinders and shoes.
All tyres have excellent tread. New fronts approx 4 years ago. Rears last year. All tyres are firestone multihawk.

Last timing belt and service 2019.
Has had regular mots every year. Unfortunately it failed this year and i managed to damage the windscreen when moving the car from mot centre back to garage.

This is a lovely classic car to drive but has its bad points, Engine quite smokey when started if it’s been sitting a while but soon clears, I put that down to valve stem seals needing replacing, stereo original but not working, clock doesn’t adjust, choke lever not original but no damage to the dashboard, parcel shelf not original colour.

As you would expect from a car over 30 years old it has a few age related marks.

The car drives well, engine pulls well and gearbox feels good, no pulling from brakes or steering,  in fact car seems totally original apart from what’s been mentioned.

Service history has quite a few stamps from previous owners,  and is complete from 2015 to 2019 when it was last serviced, I had planned a service for this year until it failed the MOT at which point I decided it was time to pass the car on.

The pictures are from 2019 and are still a good representation of how the car looks now,  unfortunately they don’t show the windscreen damage, but that would require replacing in any case.

4 owners - beige - sunroof - working central locking.
