CPUK National Rally 2008 update
To receive your CPUK discounted entry voucher for the National at Ragley, please complete and return the registration form included with this issue of the Peugeotist by Friday 15 August at latest. No payment is needed with the registration form.
Ragley Hall, the family home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford, is a delightful Palladian House with exceptional interiors set in formal gardens and a Capability Brown Park. There is a Kid's Zone with 3D Maze, Woodland Walks, a Rose Garden, contemporary outdoor sculpture exhibition and a coffee house and restaurant. Ragley is 2 miles SW of Alcester, off the A435/A46 - 8 miles from Stratford upon Avon.
We have been allocated a very attractive site on which to park and hold our Rally and members can arrive from 10.00 am onwards, for registration and morning refreshments. The Hall will be open from 12.00.
Saturday evening pub meal
We are arranging a pub meal at a local hostelry at around 7.45 pm (meeting for drinks from 7.00 pm). Please indicate on the registration form if you are interested in joining this and we will send you further details.
Overnight accommodation
If you would like to stay overnight on the Saturday there are several hotels, B&Bs and even a couple of camp sites in the area. The Alcester Travelodge (0871 984 6107) is approx. 2 miles from Ragley Hall. You may also find these two websites useful: www.shakespeare-country.co.uk (or tel: 0870 1607930); and www.alcester.co.uk
Trophies
Please return any trophies to Nick O'Hara in time for engraving before the Rally
Help desperately needed!
If anyone is able to help the Committee on the day with any aspect of running this event we would love to hear from you - there are many tasks with which we could really use some help!
Please send off your registration form now - look forward to seeing you there!
