205 1.6 CTI, TAXED & MOT, grt runner, summer ready (1990) £1,275 (M)

Hi,
Here is my well looked after 205 1.6 CTI, in stunning condition for its age! Reluctantly up for sale. These are getting rarer now and it was even featured in Classic monthly.

Looks and sounds great, unbeatable for summer fun.

It has M.O.T until January 2011 and TAX until August 2010.
And has done only 89.000 miles!

And has had a fair bit of work done to it:

Oil stem seals reconditioned
New radiator
New drive shaft
Cambelt, distributor, spark plugs
New exhaust which sounds sweet.
And other bits and pieces

No rips on roof, rear window is not badly fogged
There are two sets of keys and it has a CD Player.
Will throw in some spare door seals (rare) and a leather GTI steering wheel that I never got round to fit.

All round the car is in good condition the drivers seat has some wear but nothing you wouldn't expect in a 205.

peugeot 505 turbo diesel automatic saloon

A grand old lady needs someone to give her some TLC, this car has been owned by my dad for about 20 years and was serviced religously, she drove the 600 miles up to Scotland 4 years ago and ever since has been run to and from work by my partner who sadly didnt have the time to give her the love she deserved, now with no MOT and Tax he is speaking about putting her to the scrap dealers, she is such a rare motor and a lovely drive it would be a crime should this be allowed to happen. On account of her location,(Morayshire) and the fact she would have to be transported i would gladly accept any offers on her. For sale is my 205 CTI which I have lovingly restored over the past 8 months.

The car has been completed this week and is now ready for sale. Since its MOT in January it has barely covered 300 miles.
Since I have owned the car I have had a lot of work carried out which includes a new leather interior, 4 new tyres, a light service has been conducted (4 new plugs, new HT lead, distributor cap and rotary arm).
Also replaced is the cold air intake pipe which is prone to spliting as happened to the original.
The red carpet is in superb condition considering the age which I have had professionally valeted along with the entire interior and exterior.
All external trim has been cleaned having been removed from the car which has now all come up extremely well as shown in the photos.
The most obvious and striking improvement is the bodywork which I have paid a professional bodyshop to repaint the car in its original Graphite Grey paint as specified at the factory.
I purchased the car in December from an owner in London who had not cared for the car and needed some much TLC. The car has its MOT in January and only required a small amount of metal brakeline replacing and a couple of rubber brakelines. There is no corrosion on the car at all which was confirmed by the mechanic once on the ramp.
I have the peugeot manuals and wallet that came with the car along with an MOT certificate that expires in January 2011. Also as shown in the photos is Toneau cover I have which covers the unsightly roof once down.

The car was first registered in September 1975 and since that time it has had only 3 owners from new (including myself). I have owned and cared for the car for 12 years during which time it has always been garaged and has been regularly serviced and worked on by Darius Bunch.
