The editorial 104ZS started out as a standard 1360cc 4 speed car. Over the course of the past year the car has been tweaked to improve handling and performance. A big valve group B 8 port cylinder head fed by twin 40 DHLA Del'orto carbs on a group B inlet manifold get fuel into the engine, while a group B 4into2 manifold gets it out and into the full group B exhaust system (can you detect a theme here? Going around corners is taken care of by a full PTS group B tarmac struts and springs set up, while modified 505 GTi discs and 4 pot calipers help it all stop.
The interior is safely stored in the loft, making room for a full Sparco FAI roll cage and sports seats.
All this means around 105 BHP instead of the standard 80 and a very harsh ride.

Next year should see the finishing touches of plumbed in fire extinguihers, competition electrics and a proper short ratio 5 speed gearbox and LSD.

Oh and a respray cos it looks a bit tatty.

Oh and it has a big french flag on the roof…whicj is nice!
