Summer has arrived and so have the CPUK summer events.

In June, we’ve got the Tayside Classic Motor Show in Scotland and Simply French at Beaulieu on the English south coast. We really are covering the length of the country!

July sees a plethora of events over many different regions so there must be something fairly close to everyone in GB.

Then we have the summer weekend away in August. 

Rob has emailed details of the weekend in the north-east, staying at Slaley Hall Hotel near Hexham so we can easily get to Beamish Museum and Tanfield Railway. This is a brilliant opportunity to see living history. Beamish is often used as a film set for period dramas as the outdoor museum covers not only acres but also many different historical periods. If you don’t fancy walking around all day, fear not – there are vintage trams and buses to transport you around the site.

And with the world’s oldest railway at Tanfield just a hop, skip and jump away for the following day’s visit, you’ll certainly be able to get your fill of historic transport.
Open to all members, regardless of the age of your Peugeot, there are still a few rooms available at Slaley Hall, so please get in touch as soon as you can.
