504 coupe & cabriolet anniversary celebration, Icklingham, Suffolk
Saturday October 10th. Organiser: Peter Vaughan

The 504 Coupe/Cabriolet is 40 years old this year and to celebrate we plan to gather a selection of these prettiest of all classic Peugeots for a pub lunch and a gentle run through East Anglian countryside.
We will meet at 12:00 at the Red Lion at Icklingham, in time for lunch at 12:30. This pub is used by the local Ferrari club and offers excellent (but very sensibly priced) food. It has a good car park in front.

Icklingham is close to the Mildenhall roundabout on the A11. The A11 provides a good link to the M11 for those coming from the south, while the A14 provides almost motorway standard connections to the Midlands and further west. The pub is easy to find in the middle of the village. For sat nav owners the postcode is IP28 6PS.
After lunch we will have a short convoy drive to Anglesey Abbey- a glorious Jacobean house with Lord Fairhaven's fascinating collection of collections, rare works of art, 114 acres of stunning gardens and a working watermill.
We would like to see as many 504 owners as possible at this event, but of course anyone with an interest in the model is welcome to attend. The more the merrier! In order to give the pub an idea of numbers I just need an indication that you are likely to come. Please email or telephone me.
